New hair loss treatment was invented in the USA

American scientists have successfully restored hair of three patients using the new pill against hair loss. The tablets contain the substance ruxolitinib which is used in marrow treatments, reports the BBC.

The so called Focal Alopecia is a very rare disease, leading to partial or full hair loss and by this moment it is treated very difficult. The three patients, who have gone through the experiment, had been with 1/3 hair loss, but after five month ruxolitinib treatment they have new hair.

Aforetime, researchers from the Columbian University have managed to find out which are the immune cells causing hair loss. After that they have run series of clinical tests over mouses. The results from the experiment were published by the authoritative magazine Natural Medicine.
